🎨 Features & Design Highlights

  • Elegant visual storytelling
The site opens with floral and bird images, setting a romantic and welcoming mood.
The imagery stays consistent throughout, helping guests feel the couple’s story from the very first scroll.

  • Our Story section
Narrates how they met, separated, reconnected, and got engaged.
It’s written in a warm, conversational style that makes guests feel personally invited into their journey.

  • Wedding details, clear and structured
Dates, venues, and times for the ceremony, reception, and after-party are easy to find and visually separated, making planning simple for guests.

  • RSVP & Send Gifts
Includes RSVP contact and bank details so guests can respond or contribute without switching apps.

  • Photo gallery
Displays multiple memorable images, allowing visitors to share in the couple’s happiest moments.

  • Background music
Guests can play music while browsing, adding an emotional and immersive layer to the experience.

  • Smooth scrolling & navigation
A “Back to Top” button and fluid page transitions make it simple and pleasant to explore.

🔧 Why Svelte Was a Good Choice

  • Performance & minimal boilerplate:
Fast page loads, minimal JS overhead — ideal for users on slower networks or mobile devices.

  • Reactive UI:
Sections like RSVP or story progress nicely, and image galleries can update or lazy load smoothly.

  • Maintainability:
Clean component structure helps me insert new sections (e.g. more photos, extra event info) without breaking layout.

💡 Impact & What I Learned

Building this invite reinforced how much details matter: typography, image placement, content sequencing all affect how people feel. Guests get more than just data — they get a narrative, an invitation that feels like an experience. And that’s powerful in digital design.
