Background
Tenax Marine Limited is one of Nigeria’s leading indigenous marine services providers, serving some of the biggest players in the Oil & Gas industry. As part of their ongoing fleet maintenance and branding efforts, the company sought to repaint one of their operational vessels.
But before taking brush to steel, they wanted to visualize their ideas in detail—ensuring the final look aligned perfectly with their brand and functional needs.
Task
Tenax Marine requested a 3D model of the ship showcasing different texture and color variations. The goal? To explore and finalize their preferred design with confidence—avoiding costly changes during or after the actual repainting.
The Process
Using Blender, I created a detailed 3D model of the ship, capturing its structure and form with precision. I then applied four unique texture and color variations, each rendered in high-quality visuals. These renderings allowed Tenax Marine to:
- Evaluate each option clearly
- Spot potential design improvements
- Make informed decisions collaboratively
Render Previews
Below are the four texture variations rendered for the project:
Texture Variation 1
Texture Variation 2
Texture Variation 3
Texture Variation 4
Outcome
The rendered variations gave Tenax Marine the clarity and flexibility they needed, turning an abstract idea into a vivid, interactive preview. The result? A confident path forward toward repainting—without the guesswork.
Looking to visualize your next design before committing to execution? 3D modeling might just be the key to making smarter, faster decisions.
